Fertilizer Grade

The guaranteed minimum analysis in percent of the major plant nutrient elements contained in a fertilizer material or in a mixed fertilizer. The analysis is usually designated as N-P2O5-K2O; but it may be N-P-K where permitted or required as specified by state law. Grades must be expressed in percent N-P-K for SSSA publications (oxide values may be included in parentheses). See also fertilizer analysis.
